Sketchiest Bridge Ever
We crossed this spindly monstrosity on the way up the Oregon coast to Washington.
Almost Died (Not Really)
Got ran off the road by an oversized RV going the opposite direction. Had to call a tow truck, but made it out ok.
More of Cannon Beach
(From Glacier too)
Mount Brown
Meant to post this with the Glacier Pics,
This is me by the lookout tower, just under the summit of Mt. Brown. It was a 9-mile round trip hike, which I was ill prepared for and ran out of water halfway up. Luckily I found a patch of snow towards the top.
Cannon Beach
“Yeah its where twilight and a bunch of movies were filmed” Said every tourist there X 1000. (Myself included now).
It was really neat seeing rock formations in the surf, as well as how the forest came almost all the way to the waters edge, with only a tiny band of sand in between. Cloudy and cold, not the best for swimming, but pretty ideal conditions for walking and playing Frisbee.
Bitches of the Sun
A local band performing at the Montevilla Saturday market. The lead singer had a hendrix-esque groove about him.
The Visitor
As much as I’d like to be a lone mountain man, I gotta admit a little company adventuring is quite nice.
Canadian Customs Art Connoiseur
I painted my first Bob-Ross painting of some mountains and I left it in the back of my Suburban. When I crossed the border into Canada through Glacier, I was surprised to find that the Canadian customs official inspecting my vehicle took a liking to it and now its on their wall!
