Got caught in a snowstorm on the way back to my car and hiked the last 2 miles or so in pitch black darkness and snow flurries with poncho on and bearspray unholstered.

Crystal Mill

 

Arguably the only reason this town still exists, accessible only by 4×4 vehicles (or stubborn hikers). Also probably the most photographed structure in Colorado, so no originality points here.

The town of Crystal, with all its 12 inhabitants. It even had a bookstore.

306 feet long. the piece that broke off making the right side look so skinny weighed around 150 tons.
