I met my friend Matt in Denver and we tried to go for a hike but it started raining and it was cold so we W I M P E D O U T and turned back. The silver lining was that i got to meet Lady, his retired Greyhound Noodle Horse.

C.B. North
Hipster paradise
I’m sure Crusty Butt is a lot more fun to ski down than to hike up
Crusty Butt Cave
Crusty Butt Detour
I decided to take the Bus up to Crested Butte (or as the locals call it, Crusty Butt) (Just kidding). The bus system almost deserves its own post because all of the buses were impeccably clean, and more importantly…free! So I took the bus up, but accidentally got off at Crested Butte South instead of C.B. North.
Side note: If you have 2 separate towns, just name them different things, ya’ dingus! Anyways, I had a 3 hour layover but I got this shot waiting at the bus station. Later, i grew impatient and found a general store and got some ice cream and took a mini hike over to some caves.
P.J. C.J. (Piano jockey C.J.)
When i visited the Gunnison pioneer museum, i was immediately captivated by a self playing piano I had found. I asked a museum worker if it worked, but they told me there was only 1 man who knew how to work it and I had to go hunt down “An ornery, elderly man wearing overalls named C.J.”.
Thank you C.J. You were cool as heck.
On The Road to Gunnison
I’m on my way to Gunnison, CO to meet up with my estranged childhood best friend, Sam.
Somewhere in Colorado
(Insert introspective statement about the insignificance of a lifetime from the perspective of a mountain)
Gunnison KOA Hogzilla
I regret not getting a nicer photo of this wonderful pig, but here’s a screenshot from my snapchat post. This was the biggest and best pig I had ever seen.
